Of Pinky Promises and Defluffeh

Defluffeh...you know who you are...if you're reading this, just know that I hate your guts and you better stay FAAAAAAAAAR away from me until all the problems you made are fixed and forgiven...lest you suffer a sorry fate, especially considering that I can beat your butt any day of the week!

To those who are not Defluffeh, here's the issue. (And no, I'm not going to tune this down and make it funny for all my invisible fans, because seriously, blogs are for saying what you think, and what I think about Defluffeh is NOT funny!) Defluffeh, suffering from some obscure inferiority complex or some other such thing I guess, decided to have a hissy-fit supreme when the friends of LAO's friend (shall call her Al) "supposedly" dissed him. Or, if they didn't diss him, they at least didn't like him in general.

Now, you're probably thinking that this is just a little-kid drama and really shouldn't have any attention payed to it at all. However, Defluffeh, being the idiot guy that he is, decided to blow it way out of proportion, getting angry at Al and refusing to be her friend anymore so long as she had other friends who disliked him.

(Control freak much? This is like the stereotypical beginning to a physical abuse vid that they make you watch in health class!)

So, Al retorted by ignoring Defluffeh and continuing to keep up with all her friends--sans Defluffeh. This sounds like the proper thing to do in that situation, and as far as I know of it, I support it. However, I don't know everything that happened, so I won't make final judgments on anything here.

Then enter LAO, my dear little annoying sister. Since she 'was' best friends with both Defluffeh and Al, she tried to talk reason to Defluffeh and encourage him to apologize to Al, but Defluffeh would have none of it. Instead, he blew up his ever-growing idiocy by shouting AT LAO! Accusing her of siding with AL! And in general just blowing up in her face to the point where LAO was in tears! IN TEARS!!! (@Defluffeh: I swear I would make you cry those same tears if mother would allow me anywhere near you!!!!) So now, due to some rather sage advice from another friend, Ja, LAO is estranged from both her best friend and Defluffeh, and her best friend Al by association and trying to avoid any more blow-outs.

The situation has changed slightly since then. In another effort to speak reason to Defluffeh, Ja was sucked in by his "reasoning" or whatever, and "sided" with him, turning for the most part against Al and LAO. This leaves only LAO and Al as the remaining two members of a once adorable four-person friendship.

You want to know what really bugs me about this?? All my life I have had good friends, from Treehugger and Soccer10, to Natalie and Rebecca and Brittany and Laura and Hakilah (all of whom moved), to Caoimhe and Wolf and Mich-chan and Ta--all of these I could consider my best friends at some time or another, and though some moved or drifted away, I always had new friends to take their place. In short, I have never been left without at least one best friend all my life.

Now, take LAO on the other hand. During her early school life, she moved around all over the place from school to school, never staying long enough in any one place to make any good friends (not that there were any good friends to be made anyway). Also at church, there was a group of girls all LAO's age, but they stuck together and excluded her. They still do in fact. Then LAO went to a school finally for two years in a row, and no one there accepted her either, instead ostracizing her from the rest of the class. And finally, FINALLY, she moved to a public school, and met people who accepted her somewhat, and made friends, and found a group of friends and entered into it. She went trick-or-treating with them, decorated a Christmas tree with them, went and played in the snow with them, and even had a birthday party with them. And I thought that maybe, just maybe, LAO had found her best friends like I had found mine.

But Defluffeh destroyed it, ruined it, obliterated even this one chance at having a decent group of friends! I HATE YOU DEFLUFFEH AND YOU BETTER STAY FAR AWAY FOR A VERY LONG TIME BECAUSE I WANT TO STRANGLE YOUR NECK IN A HUNDRED DIFFERENT PLACES!!!!!!!

...Ahem!

Alright, besides that, earlier I promised all you beloved invisible fans that I would write about my birthday party with my friends, which was, btw, a TOTAL SUCCESS!

It began Saturday morning, when I was in the process of cleaning of my room, and my friend Ta came over for a few hours to help out and spend some time with me since she couldn't be there for the actual party. T-T I'm sorry you missed it Ta! We discussed possibilities for a story that I had basically given up on, as well as pros and cons for making Ben die in the end of Love Is Blind. (Sorry Caoimhe, despite all your objections, there are, in fact, some credible pros to this course of action.) Then, after Ta left at roughly 1:00, I had another four and a half grueling hours of chores and clean up to do while still constantly wondering what on earth was going to happen for my birthday! (Because mother dearest had STILL not revealed anything to anybody! Grr!)

FINALLY it was 5:30, and Caoimhe, Wolf, and Treehugger all came almost right on time and all dressed up in pretty dresses too! We chatted for a little bit, and I gave Caoimhe a much-belated birthday present (by like...four or five months, XD). Then it was PRESENT TIME!! YAY!!!

Wolf gave me a really pretty purse and a very colorful stretchy-scarf, both of which were really nice...but she labeled the box: To Ladybug. >.< Seriously??

Caoimhe gave me three volumes of Yotsuba! YAY YOTSUBA!! *dances a yotsu-dance*

Treehugger gave me a very fluffy green pillow (and when I say green, I mean GREEN!), a fluffy blanket *snugglez* and some shower gel. "Because you can never have enough shower gel!"

Mother gave me BONE book 9, YAY!!! (I have finished reading it, and it actually had a rather pleasing ending, despite several mysteries throughout still left unsolved). She also gave me a computer game, a sketch book (to be used for Eliester art design), Lindt Chocolate (yuuuuuummm), and finally...The Ultimate Gift! *drumroll please!*

...........

That's seriously what it's called. It's a movie called Ultimate Gift. And it's really good too! Ya'll should watch it...I'll even critique it for you!

I say all this because I really want to thank everyone for their wonderful gifts, which are totally cool!

Anyway, after that, we went to a really fancy Brazilian restaurant, which was AWESOME! It had tons and tons of good food (which I won't describe 1)because it will take too long and 2)you don't want to get drool all over your computer just by reading about those mouth-watering dishes do you?) Also, everyone but mother had a Guarana drink, which is basically like this brazilian soft drink, and it's really good! It's also very hard to describe, because there isn't any American drink that comes even close to it. Even still, it was very tasty, and the meal in general had great company, and was EXTREMELY fun! At the end, the watiress gave me a white rose as a celebration of my birthday. It smelled so pretty! And there wasn't even the public humiliation of the entire staff coming out to sing happy birthday!

Nya....it just made me so happy! The whole thing was a total success, and really really fun!

After we came back, we were told to go to bed, but we ended up staying up until about 2 in the morning playing Truth or Dare (after which Treehugger left), then Truth or Lies (where if you were asked a question after saying "Lie", you had to make up an outrageous lie to answer the question) (after which Wolf went to sleep), and then Caoimhe and I played Kingdom Hearts on mute until like 3 in the morning. <.< >.> Shhhh....

So there, pinky promise kept, and a wonderful birthday party properly documented! wOOt!

Of Officially Needing a Life and Last Friday

So, I'm still experiencing previously mentioned technical difficulties, but right now i'm procrastinating from sleep (smart, huh?) and decided to write to all you invisible fans about my total lack of life.

I just hate how those stupid gigantic projects creep up on you. They're like, "oh look, we're all so cute and cuddly, you don't need to worry about us," so the unsuspecting teenager is like "OK", and goes back to playing Runescape/Myspacing (or Facebooking)/Pwning Noobs on Video Games/whatever else teenagers do these days with their new-fangled gadgets.

And then...that cute and cuddly grows up, and becomes...
THISGIANTFRIGGINMONSTERTHATCOMESTODESTROYMYLIFE!!!!

(Yes, the anthology is ALWAYS best described by all capital letters and dramatic words all cramped together so you can't read them. That's exactly what it is.)

So, for the last two weeks, I have had absolutely nothing resembling a life. What little social life I had is gone. Kingdom Hearts is...wait, what? *looks around confusedly* What's Kingdom Hearts??? Internet usage is mostly normal, but that's my main source of last minute procrastination...thus it doesn't exactly count as a life. Book-reading is gone, has been gone for like a month. T-T I want my books back! This is killing me! And although this doesn't have much to do with the anthology, all manga and anime viewing is at an all time-low since like before seventh grade. INEEDZMYMANGAZ!!!!! *looks pointedly at Caoimhe*

Anywayz, so when this thing is done and over with, I will officially do a happy dance, and it will be epic, and probably right in the middle of the library. XD

Besides that, I is going to talk about last Friday and a wee bit about my birthday, but my birthday isn't done yet, so I can't say everything about that yet.

Last Friday was Silent Day, in opposition to the discrimination that faces homosexuals every day. Now, in case you didn't know, earlier this year there was one young kid who was shot for acting "gay", named Lawrence King. So, because of him, and because I'm against all discrimination in general, I participated in this Silent Day. Now, don't get me wrong, I DO NOT support gay marriage. I believe that there are significant differences in the phsycology of a man and a woman, and that these differences put together are what make a healthy marriage and family relationship. To put two of the same sex in a marriage destroys that relationship. Also, one shouldn't look for love and acceptance via sex. It just doesn't work that way. I believe that the purest expression of love is through true friends that stick with each other no matter what.

That said, I still don't believe that it's right in any way, shape, or form to discriminate/hate upon/abuse people because they're gay. Thus, I am a proud participator in Silent Day.

I also found out that there is a Silent Day for Pro-life, this October 20th I believe. I am definitely participating in it, and I hope all you invisible adoring fans of mine will participate also.

-->http://www.silentday.org/instructions.php<-- Another sad happenstance of Friday was that I learned that Odiebear will be leaving us at the end of this year. Due to family problems, and another job offered her closer to her family, she won't be teaching again next year. T-T. I'll miss you Odiebear!!!!! *hugglez*

So, onto happier subjects, my birthday has been partially celebrated for two days already, once with my dad, and the other with my mom and sister. The next time will be with all my friends on May 1-2. That's going to be the big celebration, so I'll tell ya'll about it afterwards--pinky promise! The first day I went out with my dad to Olive Garden, had an officially stuffing meal of yumminess, and recieved a card "-- is the year when your voice FINALLY changes, from 'I want a pony' to 'I want a MUSTANG!' " XD I lol'ed at that. He also gave me his copy of the 12-disc, extended version special edition Lord of the Rings!!!! Isn't that totally awesome coolness! *squees and dances happily*

...Then I had to return to continue working on the anthology. *shakes fist at the thing* Darn you becursed anthology! The second day I went with my mom and sister to a Japanese restaurant where they cook the meals in front of you, and it's REALLY cool! I didn't get any gifts, mainly because they're coming next weekend and also because I STILL had to go back and work on the $%#*&! anthology.

Of Experiencing Technical Difficulties

We are officially experiencing technical difficulties.

We have been experiencing said difficulties since the last post. I just came on now to tell you, all my invisible fans, about it.

It's called: THEGIANTFRIGGINANTHOLOGYPROJECTTHATSDUEINSEVENDAYS!!!!

(Good luck reading that)

Anywayz, so yeah, until that project is finished, bound, and lying safe and sound in the hands of our ever-wonderful english teacher Ms. F! (guess what F stands for...), I will not be posting any more blogs.

Now, it's not that I'm trying not to procrastinate, because I am, even as I beat myself up about it. I'm just specifically avoiding you all in favor of youtube and facebook. Because I love you invisible fans just THAT much! XD

As a side note for future reference, my birthday falls within this week, so I better be getting lotsa HAPPY B-DAYS! Also, I have much to say about last Friday, cuz it was silent day, but I forgot what it was. Oh yeah, now I remember...but I have to keep remembering until next week, when ya'll will hear about it. Lolz...

Tis time to return to the dreaded project! Bye bye all!

Of Easter Break and Chronic Procastination

So, we begin to draw near the end of Easter Break...T-T

...

OK I'M SORRY!!!! I haven't posted in forever I know!! All of you are wondering where my life went!!

Well...I'm kinda wondering the same thing. Well, not REALLY really, I mean, I know my life consists nearly solely of computer time, TV time, reading, school/homework/, sleeping, and eating, in that order. It's a rare day in my life that's worth posting on my blog, and without the help of the randomness provided from other people, there isn't really a whole lot to write.

Let's see an example, shall we, of the excitingness of my Easter Break.

Mom: (having recently returned from work) Jenu!!! Did you get the dishes done??

Me: (thumbs flying over my PS2 controls as Sora battles various monsters in Halloween Land) No! I'm busy right now!

Mom: (comes into the living room and notices the urgent matters occupying my mmediate attention) Uh-huh...so uhhh...did you get your paper written?

Me: (Fighting the last couple enemies) Huh-huh.

Mom: So....what did you do all day?

Me: (cursing the now KO'ed Donald AND Goofy while the last biggest bad guy is left for me to fight) Played Sims and KH.

Mom: And...that counts as a busy day???

Me: (delivers the final blow, and turns to face Mom) *nods* Yep! I gained maximum skill level in ALL my skills on Sims, AND I beat two levels on Kingdom Hearts!!

Mom: (shakes head and leaves) What must I expect? You're on break.

So...that counts as a very productive day in the life of me. Now, granted, that isn't the ONLY thing I've done all week. I went to watch a play put on by some of my youth group members, which was AWESOME!!! I have also gone to the library and studied, and I am on vacation right now, where I drove a jet ski for the first (and probably last) time on Thursday. Now, that was REALLY awesome! But then...the universe conspired against me, and is giving this little hotel/restaurant/lakefront a ton of crappy weather, so we're stuck inside with even less to do than home. *sigh*

As for chronic procrastination...I have two days left of break. 1 will be spent driving (mostly me driving, so I can gain hours for exp.) The second will be spent working on a (supposedly) hour long project (it'll proably be way longer) for history, AND writing that research paper for english!!!! Sometimes I could just STRANGLE my procrastination...and then I realize I'd be strangling myself. argh.

Well, beginning Tuesday, I'll bring you the Adventures of Graphiccom4. A very interesting class...I wish I were in it!!

P.S. Caoimhe posted a brilliant retelling of the story of Hamlet
here--->http://nightmayr.deviantart.com/art/The-Real-Hamlet-118014566 Read it!! :-)

Of the Adventures of Peacock Dress

So, since today was APRIL FOOLS DAY!!! I hope ya'll did something fun and exciting! I know I did!!

*poses in the very shiny-colorful-rainbow-peacock dress of chaos and craziness and random butterflies, scales, and feathery-thingys....*

(Peacock Dress) I had a very adventurous day today. The first remark today was from Wolf, who simply said "Interesting." Then, while Jenu went to get her breakfast, Wolf switched tables, I think in an attempt to avoid me...lol. Then, we were found by Caoimhe, who declared with much enthusiasm: "THIS IS MY FRIEND WHO WEARS REALLY BIZARRE CLOTHES!" while giving me an epic glomp.

Then, after finding Wolf again, she took many pictures of Caoimhe and I, which was quite fun. We also documented Wolf's HOTFRIGGINPINK hair, but I suspect that she deleted that picture.

First period passed without much incident, but in second period, Jenu's friend Ta asked to wear me, and since Jenu was wearing gym clothes underneath, Ta got to wear me for a few seconds.

In gym class Jenu coldheartedly left me to rot in the nasty locker rooms while she...what did you do anyway?

Jenu: Had an epic Four Square Battle. It was awesome!!!!

Peacock Dress: AHEM! Anyway, in fourth period I was noticed by Odiebear as a very colorful and pretty dress. *sighs happily*

Jenu:...showoff...

P. D.: *rolls peacocky eyes* Nothing adventurous happened until 6th period, during which Annoying Boy 1 declared me a walking rainbow. *dances around happily* And then...lets see, no adventures were to be found in seventh period except that one of Jenu's classmates said that I made her day, which I'm sure made Jenu's day. In 8th, Ms. D called me shiny. SHINY!! SQUEE!!!!

Jenu: Ok, I think that's enough out of you!

Of April Fools (Again) and College Plans

Ok, so again today there hasn't been much going on...

Except that THE PROJECT draws ever nearer...*gasp gasp gasp*

Well, for a small happening, my Latin grade jumped from a C to an A because Odiebear messed up on an assignment that I did, but she thought I didn't, so that made my first midterm grade a C! Which really scared me. But then today she fixed it, so the grade went back up to a pleasant A. *phew*

But, besides that, tomorrow is April Fools. *wide evil grin spreads across my face* And I've something brilliant planned. But...it remains top-secret until tomorrow. Hopefully, I shall obtain pictures of the...outfit, which will...(hopefully not, but probably will) appear on Facebook. (Sorry Caoimhe, I can't post them on here, but you will definitely see the outfit firsthand anyway, so that doesn't matter.)

Anyway, in anticipation of a marvelous April Fool's plan...YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!

Also, even though college plans are not pressing for time--I know the place I want to go. For Internet safety, I can't actually tell ya'll (sorry folks), but know this. It's REALLY good!!! It has a liberal arts program (for creative writing), and a horse-riding program (SWEET!), and a really cool campus, close to home, all-girls...tis AWESOME!!!! And I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go!!! *sighs dreamily*

Anyway, I haven't much else to say except one thing directed at Defluffeh: FACKIO is NOT THAT FUNNY! It means TO DO OR MAKE!!! It is NOT A BAD WORD!!! SO STOP LAUGHING!!

Of Parties and Random Stresses

Alright, so I haven't posted in a couple days, mainly because LAO has been dominating the computer, plus she had a party on Saturday, plus I was holed up in my room all day yesterday reading. So...all in all together, I have a bit to say.

Happenings of Saturday: that was the day that LAO held a party for all her friends, including one of her friends who happens to be my best friend as well, henceforth named TreeHugger (for lack of a better nickname, she really doesn't have many.) It was not an epic party, like my 15th that I will remember forever, but it was fun.

First was pizza: lots and lots of pizza, and one of LAO's friends managed to eat FIVE WHOLE PIZZA'S but failed to snort any out her nose. Exactly how does that work? Another of her friends managed to eat nothing, probably because he's afraid that the pizza will rot his insides out. (He has modern-American-culture-phobia issues. Also, he is henceforth named Defluffeh.)

Then we went swimming, where treading water contests were held, abandoned, entered, and won within the short time of probably five mintutes before it bored me to tears, and I forfeited, ending the game. Marco polo was a favorite game, played for quite some time, although no one else joined our group. We also played Sharks&Minnows, and Four Corners, and ATTEMPTED to get Defluffeh to join us, but he "supposedly" had a cut on his foot and was "supposedly" going to get a serious infection if he even STEPPED in the water. *coughhewastryingtogetsomespecialtimewithaspecialsomeonewhowasathepartycough*
AHEM!

Then we all returned home, partook in the traditional cake&presents part of the party, and watched a movie called Red October. It was quite a good movie, certainly very informational, but I wouldn't suggest watching it unless you have a resident reader/fan of Tom Clancy, who has read the book Red October or seen the movie before.

Sunday was Hermit Day. I read, and did homework...lots and lots of homework. Not much else. So much for the "Day of Rest." Honestly, that should be moved to Saturdays to be more friendly on us procrastinators. Or make Monday part of the weekend. Now THERE'S an idea!

Today was the day that it finally hit. I have less than a month finish THE PROJECT! (It is the only project I have ever done that is worthy of ALL CAPS. At least so far.) So....time to let it aaaaallll out....

...

...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *running around frantically and screaming my head off* IT'S LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*gasping for breath now*

And, despite that HUGE stress, there is another, little, annoying thing that happened today, compliments to the idiocy and lameness of guys trying to annoy girls who really don't give a **** what they do.

Someone wired my locker today: twice! Now, in case you don't know what that is (and you probably don't since I just made it up because I really don't know what it's called), that means that someone took one of those plastic wires they use in stores to loop stuff together and are next to impossible to get off and used it to loop around my locker so that even if I did the combination right, the locker wouldn't open. This person did that to my locker, for no apparent reason, once during morning break, and once at the end of the day (which is why I missed my ride home, mom.) The second time I asked a janitor to get the thing off, he's like fumbling with these huge tools and really being a klutz about it, and when he finally gets it off he turns to me and says "Well, make sure that doesn't happen again, ok?"

...

WHAAAAT?!?! What do you mean, it's MY fault?!? If it were up to me, that would have never happened! Or if it did happen, only once, and definitely NOT at the end of the day! What, does he think I can monitor my locker all the time? I mean, really, that was so pointless!

Ok, rant's over now.

Anyway, so now I'm patiently waiting for my ride to come pick me up, aaaaaand...not looking forward to facing THE PROJECT!

As a sidenote, WolfOne has requested that her name be changed to Wolf. Which, I'll do, for the sake of laziness and a slightly cooler nickname. However, Wolf has a deathly fear of pink, so she avoids this site like the plague...not, of course, that she doesn't have HOTFRIGGINPINK hair anyway...*coughshedoesandshecallsitmagentalolcough*

Question: How does one change the color scheme on this site? And are there more options than the ones in the very beginning? I'm not afraid of/hate pink, but I really really like blue, and I couldn't find any good blue options in the beginning, so I chose this one. Maybe Caoimhe can help with changing the color scheme.
