Of Parties and Random Stresses

Alright, so I haven't posted in a couple days, mainly because LAO has been dominating the computer, plus she had a party on Saturday, plus I was holed up in my room all day yesterday reading. So...all in all together, I have a bit to say.

Happenings of Saturday: that was the day that LAO held a party for all her friends, including one of her friends who happens to be my best friend as well, henceforth named TreeHugger (for lack of a better nickname, she really doesn't have many.) It was not an epic party, like my 15th that I will remember forever, but it was fun.

First was pizza: lots and lots of pizza, and one of LAO's friends managed to eat FIVE WHOLE PIZZA'S but failed to snort any out her nose. Exactly how does that work? Another of her friends managed to eat nothing, probably because he's afraid that the pizza will rot his insides out. (He has modern-American-culture-phobia issues. Also, he is henceforth named Defluffeh.)

Then we went swimming, where treading water contests were held, abandoned, entered, and won within the short time of probably five mintutes before it bored me to tears, and I forfeited, ending the game. Marco polo was a favorite game, played for quite some time, although no one else joined our group. We also played Sharks&Minnows, and Four Corners, and ATTEMPTED to get Defluffeh to join us, but he "supposedly" had a cut on his foot and was "supposedly" going to get a serious infection if he even STEPPED in the water. *coughhewastryingtogetsomespecialtimewithaspecialsomeonewhowasathepartycough*
AHEM!

Then we all returned home, partook in the traditional cake&presents part of the party, and watched a movie called Red October. It was quite a good movie, certainly very informational, but I wouldn't suggest watching it unless you have a resident reader/fan of Tom Clancy, who has read the book Red October or seen the movie before.

Sunday was Hermit Day. I read, and did homework...lots and lots of homework. Not much else. So much for the "Day of Rest." Honestly, that should be moved to Saturdays to be more friendly on us procrastinators. Or make Monday part of the weekend. Now THERE'S an idea!

Today was the day that it finally hit. I have less than a month finish THE PROJECT! (It is the only project I have ever done that is worthy of ALL CAPS. At least so far.) So....time to let it aaaaallll out....

...

...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *running around frantically and screaming my head off* IT'S LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*gasping for breath now*

And, despite that HUGE stress, there is another, little, annoying thing that happened today, compliments to the idiocy and lameness of guys trying to annoy girls who really don't give a **** what they do.

Someone wired my locker today: twice! Now, in case you don't know what that is (and you probably don't since I just made it up because I really don't know what it's called), that means that someone took one of those plastic wires they use in stores to loop stuff together and are next to impossible to get off and used it to loop around my locker so that even if I did the combination right, the locker wouldn't open. This person did that to my locker, for no apparent reason, once during morning break, and once at the end of the day (which is why I missed my ride home, mom.) The second time I asked a janitor to get the thing off, he's like fumbling with these huge tools and really being a klutz about it, and when he finally gets it off he turns to me and says "Well, make sure that doesn't happen again, ok?"

...

WHAAAAT?!?! What do you mean, it's MY fault?!? If it were up to me, that would have never happened! Or if it did happen, only once, and definitely NOT at the end of the day! What, does he think I can monitor my locker all the time? I mean, really, that was so pointless!

Ok, rant's over now.

Anyway, so now I'm patiently waiting for my ride to come pick me up, aaaaaand...not looking forward to facing THE PROJECT!

As a sidenote, WolfOne has requested that her name be changed to Wolf. Which, I'll do, for the sake of laziness and a slightly cooler nickname. However, Wolf has a deathly fear of pink, so she avoids this site like the plague...not, of course, that she doesn't have HOTFRIGGINPINK hair anyway...*coughshedoesandshecallsitmagentalolcough*

Question: How does one change the color scheme on this site? And are there more options than the ones in the very beginning? I'm not afraid of/hate pink, but I really really like blue, and I couldn't find any good blue options in the beginning, so I chose this one. Maybe Caoimhe can help with changing the color scheme.

  1. Caoimhe to the rescue. If I can I will do a nice HTML skin just for you. :) I can't believe someone did that to your locker though that is so retarded!
